How It Works: An Integrated Workflow for Flawless Assembly

Our assembly machine orchestrates a smooth, fully automated process that begins with part feeding and ends with finished, inspected assemblies. Plastic components are loaded into a high-performance vibration bowl equipped with front and rear recognition cameras to ensure correct orientation. A pick-and-place manipulator, guided by a lower flying vision camera, retrieves each part and rotates it as needed. Equipment Process Flow Description:

  1. Square products are poured into the vibration bowl. The linear vibration mechanism conveys them to the feeding track. The feeding manipulator suctions and lifts the product, moving it for feeding. The lower flying vision camera identifies the product's orientation. If the product is reversed, the rotation motor on the suction plate rotates it 180 degrees.

  2. The feeding manipulator moves the product to a 4-claw positioning mechanism for alignment. The manipulator then shifts left. The left suction plate picks up the product, while the right suction plate presses down. Positioning pins on the suction head insert into the product's locating holes, allowing it to suction the positioned product. The feeding manipulator shifts right to place the product onto the placement track. Positioning pins on the suction head insert into the track's locating holes before releasing the product.

  3. The release liner is fed via rollers, peeled off, and wound onto the release liner take-up mechanism.

  4. Adhesive tape is driven forward by servo motor-driven rollers. Upper and lower rubber rollers press the two edges of the tape, rolling it forward to the assembly position. A fiber optic sensor on the track detects when the tape is fed into position and stops the feeding. After assembly, the product proceeds to a flattening mechanism where upper and lower rubber rollers press and roll it forward.

  5. The product reaches the take-up mechanism and is wound up by the take-up motor.
